Self Validity Starts With Openness To Emotional Vulnerability

I was informed: "You were not a real prostitute"! If that is true then why am I getting REAL STIGMA effects? Namely, I have been BANNED by academic associations because "You make people too uncomfortable!" I have be undergoing what amounts to academic  "death".. unable to be and/or remain appointed as an adjunct instructor anywhere in the USA. As if loss of my career is not bad enough, I was told by  a member of a prostitution association not to use the term "sex worker" because, this woman insisted, "Sex is not work!" I was told by a member of a sex worker association that as an ex-sexworker, to be open about my past as such would set a bad example and be dangerous for others to follow in my footsteps!
